Tucked away on the eastern tip of Oak Island, the North Carolina Baptist Assembly at Fort Caswell occupies the site of a former Civil War fort. Since 1949, when the Baptist State Convention bought the property from the federal government, Caswell has been an instrument of peace, offering NC Baptists and others a place of quiet reflection and relaxation. Summer Staff applications are coming in!!
Every summer over 9,000 teenagers and adults travel 30 miles south of Wilmington to the North Carolina Baptist Assembly at Fort Caswell, a coastal retreat and conference center. The campers come to “Caswell”, where they encounter God in a real way as they are surrounded by an environment that seeks to show them that God loves them right where they are.
