Summer Building Occupancy Information

Please note that the numbers for summer occupancy minimums and maximums are different from the numbers listed for the rest of the year. See below for the summer season occupancy limits. Please keep this information in mind during the summer registration process.

Cottage Accommodations
Includes kitchen and dining facilities for groups. Fort Caswell provides basic cooking utensils only. Linens and all other necessities must be provided by guests.*
Cottages have a minimum and maximum number of guests for registration, and the figures for each are listed below.

Riverside A: Min – 9, Max – 12

Hotel Accommodations
Turn-of-the-century Officers Quarters, each Hotel features private guest rooms with private baths with a maximum of 4 people per room.

Driftwood: 9 Rooms, Max – 32

Palmetto: 9 Rooms, Max – 34

Residence Accommodations
Dormitory-style housing. Linens, towels, pillows, and all other necessities must be provided by guests.*

Long Bay: Max – 137 *The building is divided into smaller rooms with bunk beds and is not assigned to a single church group. Bunk rooms are not shared between groups, though some same-gender rooms may share bathrooms.

Barracks Accommodations
Guests must bring their own linens, towels, pillows, and other necessities. Each barracks building is divided into four quads. In the summer, depending on size, a group may have a section to themselves or share the space with other church groups. Groups are assigned specific beds within their area to stay together, and bathrooms are shared within the quad.
