Proclaimer: Josh Hughes

Josh Hughes is the husband of Ginger, the father of Ella, Elam, and Emelia, and a pastor for many. Growing up in Georgia, Josh attended Mercer University for undergrad and Seminary. He completed his doctorate at Gardner-Webb University in 2023. Feeling God’s call from a young age, Josh has served churches for twenty years in both North and South Georgia and has been the pastor of First Baptist Church in Lenoir, NC, for the last ten. Josh is committed to loving God and loving neighbor by inspiring sincere worship and empowering his congregation to meet the needs of those around them. His engaging personality and wit connect with young and old alike, while his wisdom and authenticity from the pulpit challenge listeners to respond to the Lord’s calling in their lives. In his spare time, Josh loves to hunt with a traditional bow, fish with a fly rod, coach his children’s ball teams, and watch UGA football.
Worship Leader: Doug Thompson

Doug grew up in Lenoir, North Carolina attending Lower Creek Baptist Church where he made his profession of faith. One favorite memory of growing up is coming to Caswell for the first time in 1964 at the age of 9, which started a tradition of coming to Caswell on and off for over 61 years.
After High School he served in the Army for 12 years. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and a Masters of Divinity degree in Church Music from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
In 1988 he was called to his first full-time position as a Minister of Music and Youth in Fayetteville, NC. For 34 years he has served churches in NC, retiring in January of 2020. Since retiring he has served in 4 Music Minister interims in central North Carolina and is currently serving at Lafayette Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
He is married to Sharon Thompson of Fayetteville, and has one grown son Jonathan, who resides in Nashville TN.

Monday Night - Three On a String
With more than 50 years in the entertainment world, Three on a String has built a reputation for exceptional musicianship, warm humor, and shows that connect with audiences of all ages. Formed in 1971, the group has evolved from small venues to performances with symphony orchestras across the Southeast and shared stages with some of the biggest names in entertainment.
The current lineup includes Jerry Ryan, Bobby Horton, Brad Ryan, and Andy Meginniss—four seasoned performers whose combined experience spans national tours, PBS documentaries, the Grand Ole Opry, and a wide range of live events. Their multi-instrumental talents, storytelling, and unmistakable chemistry create a show that is both entertaining and uplifting.
Known for delivering good, clean, fun, Three on a String’s goal is simple: to make sure people leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Tuesday Night: Renea Henderson
Renea shares Christian Ministry through a mix of contemporary/southern gospel/inspirational music concerts, children’s and clown ministry, and public speaking through retreats, conferences, and special events specializing in family/Christian entertainment. Through a number of outrageously humorous dramatic characters, Renea provides side-splitting comedy that is combined with a power-packed message.
