Teacher Workshops
Teacher workshops are professional development workshops designed for formal and non-formal educators wanting to increase their knowledge of coastal environmental education. We offer both single-day workshops and overnight retreats.
Day workshops such as Project WET, Project Aquatic WILD, and CATCH meet continuing education standards, as well as Criteria I requirements for the North Carolina Environmental Education
Certification. Check online for workshop dates in the upcoming season.
Overnight retreats are multi-day teacher workshops, where teachers can participate in inquiry based science activities, and connect with their fellow co-workers or other environmental educators. These retreats are customized to fit the needs of the group.
