Job Descriptions
Learning both Community and Ministry at Caswell
Every summer, thousands of teenagers flock to the North Carolina Baptist Assembly at Fort Caswell, a conference and retreat center located 30 miles south of Wilmington. The teens come to Caswell (as the place is affectionately called), where they discover God or a renewed relationship with Him, new friends and creation's beauty.
Before the campers arrive, Caswell becomes a training ground for both community and ministry for the college students who come to work and live here for the ten week summer season.
The North Carolina Baptist Assembly has a variety of summer ministry opportunities in several work areas. Spending a summer at Caswell is life on the beach, but its also engaging in true Christian servanthood and experiencing the joys and challenges of living as a community with more than 70 other staff members.
