Fort Caswell, perfect for school groups of any size, is located where the Cape Fear meets the Atlantic and the outdoors is your classroom! Fort Caswell is located 30 min. outside of Wilmington, NC. We are surrounded on three sides by the Cape Fear River, the Atlantic Ocean, and unsullied marshlands. Rich in beauty the Assembly offers security unmatched by hotels, while offering a variety of recreational options and customized meal plans.
Fort Caswell’s educational facilities are available to Homeschool and Christian School groups at any time during the school year. Accommodations are available for groups of any size. Fort Caswell offers Christ-centered outdoor and hands-on education that promotes environmental stewardship. Our goal is to help students experience the wonders of Creation while fostering a life-long commitment to its preservation and care.
Accommodations
Fort Caswell offers various types of housing to best accommodate your student group's needs.
Barracks - Guests must bring their own linens, towels, and pillows. (Large bunk rooms)
Boy's Barracks • Girl's Barracks - 50 person minimum, 175 maximum for each building
Residence Buildings - Dormitory style housing. Guests must bring their own linens, towels, and pillows.

- Sea Oats - 16 minimum to 32 maximum
- Atlantic - 16 minimum to 32 maximum
- Staff House - 34 minimum to 68 maximum
- Live Oak - 14 minimum to 28 maximum
